ClipGrab is a free downloader and converter for YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and many other video sites online. It makes downloading and converting online videos easy in Ubuntu as well as in Windows systems. This brief tutorial shows you how to install and use ClipGrab in Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.

To get started, press Ctrl – Alt – T to open Terminal. When it opens, run the commands below to add ClipGrab ppa:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:clipgrab-team/ppa
Next, run the commands below to update your system.
Finally, run the commands below to install ClipGrab
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:clipgrab-team/ppa
